 Tennis Tips for your Forehand: Basic Techniques (Listed in the Order of Importance)

1. Watch the ball and pick your contact zone and focus on this zone, Gaze fixation. Do this until after contact with ball.

2. Maintain a firm wrist through the entire stroke; backswing, hit, and follow-through (solid strokes).

3. Use full strokes; follow-through completely (complete strokes), I like to have good racquet head speed in tennis strokes. I tell my players we canot hit the ball too hard, we hit the ball with por contact or less spin.

4. React quickly pick up on ques of spin and speed.

6. Hit the ball with an awareness of racket pitch at impact, make the racquet SING

7. Have a good circular swing

8. Recover quickly back to the ready position.

9.Use low to high strokes (let the ball fall into your strings). 

10. Challange yourself understand what you see and why it happens, question your errors and work hard on not replicating similar error after error.
